I started to write about ways to glean info in a national disaster. I’ll get to that in another story, because as I dug around, I discovered live scanner feeds. You know the kind-police, fire and rescue, forest service, emergency services — and I wiped out an afternoon glued to the broadcasts.

Wizards of the Coast have finally admitted that no one truly understands the grappling rules in D&D 4th edition. Now the sad part of this is that, 4th edition grappling rules, are much much more simplified over the earlier editions.

Many a D&Dcharacter has gone down to defeat while writhing in an opponent\’s grasp. Unfortunately, many a D&D game has come to a grinding halt as the DM and players struggled with the grappling rules. This article can\’t do much about the mayhem that ensues when big a monster grabs your character, but it can ease the confusion surrounding the grappling rules.\”

(Sorry, haven\’t read the twilight series, and don\’t intend to… It\’s perfectly fine that some folks like it.. But I\’m sorry, real Vampires don\’t sparkle…. Just like real Zombies can\’t run beat a marathon sprinter….)
JoBlo is reporting that Catherine Hardwicke is in talks to deveope & direct the Maximum Ride movies… Based, obviously off the Maximum Ride books. The first two books are good escapism fantasy… I haven\’t had a chance to read the 3rd book, but according to my wife & mother-in-law, the 3rd book is too preachy regarding environmentalism…..
