Meet Doctor Who\’s new assistant

The Observer has a interview with Karen Gillan….
Doctor Who has a new assistant, Amy Pond. Karen Gillan, who plays her, explains what it\’s like to be the most envied woman in Britain

She thought she \”hadn\’t a hope in hell\” of securing Amy, so just went for it, without fear.

\”Then I got the recall, the second audition. That was when I started sweating. This huge thing. And it was so secretive I couldn\’t even tell BBC reception where I was going, had to pretend it was for something called Panic Moon, which is an anagram of companion.\” She was the last auditionee, and got the call later that same night that\’s still changing her life.

Silverhawks Outtakes

In addition to the Thundercats, there was another cartoon series in the 1980s called \”The Silverhawks\”. It too was a science fiction cartoon, except it took place in the far future and in space. Another interesting note is that it had the same voice acting cast as Thundercats did. Since I have gotten more requests for outtakes, I figured I would put up these ones as well.

Thundercats Outtakes

The Thundercats is a sci-fi/furry cartoon series that aired in the 1980\’s which featured characters that were human looking, but also were part cat, as if they had evolved from felines. The show can still be seen on occasion on the Cartoon Network.

Anyway, enough of that, how about something that will make you laugh your head off? You see, the Thundercats, like most cartoon characters, were played by humans. And humans sometimes get mad and like to swear. That being the case, someone happened to record the members of the Thundercats cast swearing while taping the show, and it makes for some pretty funny outtakes!
